In addition to our production facility and on-site retail store, we operate a thriving wholesale distribution network serving customers across Ontario. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production & Materials Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations across all business divisions.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production & Materials Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of raw materials, coordinating production schedules, managing inventory control, and maintaining strong relationships with co-packing clients, suppliers, and vendors. The role requires excellent organizational skills, a customer-centric focus, and the ability to coordinate complex schedules and documentation for co-packing operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be proactive in addressing challenges and optimizing processes to ensure on-time deliveries and product availability.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in administration tasks, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in a food production or manufacturing
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate logistics, inventory, and production schedules in a fast-paced environment.

SKILLS:

  • Strong customer-centric focus with the ability to manage relationships with co-packing clients and vendors effectively.
  • Technology driven and tech savvy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and build relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, especially in handling co-packing documentation and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to food safety and manufacturing standards is an asset.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: From $19.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
