Description:

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

We are looking for an office-based Production Office Clerk ideally someone with experience with windows & doors estimation, order processor for the manufacture and supplier of windows and doors is a plus but training will be provided for the right candidate. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and extremely strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities will include processing orders, general office administration, whilst also reporting to the supervisor /manager and working closely with various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· GCSE/ A-Level / HNC / Bachelor’s degree
· Must be computer literate with good speed and accuracy of typing and spelling skills and strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word). Windowmaker
· Excellent customer service and call handling skills in a professional phone manner
· Knowledge of integrated Windowmaker or similar design software
· Available to work full time

Responsibilities:

· Processing orders with high attention to detail
· Logging & input of orders on internal manufacturing system.
· Checking accuracy and completeness of incoming and out-going information
· Ensure orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner
· Meet daily deadlines for manufacturing and collections to take place.
· Issue accurate documentation to shop floor operations personnel.
· Excellent time management, planning & organizational skills along with good communication skills
· Taking electronic payments
· Developing customer relationships via telephone and email
· Updating systems where delivery dates, prices are required.
· Ongoing update of delivery dates and timings.
· Keeping active knowledge of stock and levels.
· Work with the department supervisor to maintain and uphold quality standards and operating procedures
· Reading architectural drawings, inputting data, and returning quotations to customers.
· Perform any other duties as and when requested by management.
· Follow health and safety procedures and legislation
