Description:
Role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join our specialists Foam conversion production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing, packaging, and quality control of our foam based products.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail and will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Hours of work – Late Shift
1.30p.m. – 10:00p.m. Monday to Thursday, 1.30p.m. – 7.30p.m. Friday
Reporting to: Production Manager or Shift Supervisor
Duties Include:
· Operating Band Saw, Drills, Heat Welder – All training will be provided.
· To assemble foam parts to customer order, using drawings and specifications supplied.
· General assembly of various foam packaging products.
· Checking product quality at each stage of production.
· Accurately record production data on the companies IT system
· To keep the working area / stores free of hazards as per the company’s health and safety policy, reporting any potential dangers to the Operations Manager as soon as they arise.
· Be prepared to undertake any internal / external training as required.
· To be flexible as possible with working hours at times of heavy workload.
· To undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company.

Rate of Pay: Starting hourly rate above the national living wage, plus shift allowance of £90/week for late shift.
