POSITION OVERVIEW

Bcomp Ltd. is a young and dynamic Swiss company specialised in the development, marketing and sales of natural fibre composite solutions for high-performance applications. With a background in the sports industry, and after establishing ourselves in motorsports, we are now focusing on growing our presence in the mobility market. We develop sustainable lightweighting solutions based on natural fibres in close collaboration with our customers, in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial working environment.
To strengthen its Operations team and boost our production lines, Bcomp is looking for a Production Operator ideally as of 1st of October in a small team with 2 other operators.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES

• CFC or Diploma on automatised machines (production lines)
• 2-4 years of experience in industry (ideally in textile or plastic injection)
• Experience in an industrial start-up company is ideal
• Open to work in shifts (2×8 or 3×8). Actual working hours approximately between 7 am and 4 pm
• Fluent in French (English would be a serious advantage)
• Be able to take the initiative and work independently
• Understanding of standard computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)
• Willingness to learn and discover new industrial technologies and fields
• Positive and energetic mindset – everything is possible!

• Prepare materials and drive production lines and ensure continuity between the various stages of the overall production process
• Follow-up production standards; process, traceability and labelling
• Carry out and document quality controls in accordance with the Quality Management System
• Analyse the various causes of breakdowns and unplanned stoppages and report problems
• Ensure the proper application of the 5S (tidying system) and cleaning of lines
• First-level adjustments according to parameters defined by R&D and level 1 maintenance
• Manage scraps and production wastes
• Handle logistic activities; arrange storage area, unpack material, prepare shipments
• Respect the safety rules in place
• Participate in the continuous improvement of production lines with the rest of the team
