This position will be focusing primarily on our Energy Systems line of business, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Previous experience with heavy industry products and hot metals
Numerate and literate - GCSE passes in Mathematics and English Language would be desirable.
PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft would be a benefit
Robotic knowledge would be an advantage
Knowledge of FIFO system is desirable

Operating machinery to assist in the production process
Conducting visual quality checks of all product
Loading and unloading product onto production line
Undertaking manual handling activities
Operating Robots manually if any problems occur (full training will be given)
Running the Oxide Mill – working with pure lead and heat torches
Abiding by all Health & Safety guidelines
Ensuing that good housekeeping / 5s standards are maintained within the area of responsibility
