Job Description

  • Assembly/disassembly of equipment as required
  • Set up equipment according to product specifications
  • Monitor equipment performance at all times to ensure production is confirmed according to product specifications and food safety program
  • Perform troubleshooting of equipment as required

Qualifications

  • Completed DEC or equivalent: desirable
  • Experience: Experience in food industry and knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards
  • Computer skills: MS Office, ERP software desirable.
  • Languages: French
  • Training in food hygiene and safety (asset)
  • No known food allergies or food restrictions
  • Availability and flexibility for overtime.
  • Attendance and punctualityCharacteristics
  • Ability to understand and reason the operation of a measuring device in order to be able to follow up on compliance values.

  • Ability to clearly communicate observations to Production, Quality Control and supervisor.- Attention to detail, meticulous.- Ability to supervise a close team.

  • Ability to stand for the duration of shift operations

  • Teamwork and flexibility of assignment
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
