Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2-year technical school diploma.
  • AME M2 License is considered an asset.
  • PMP designation is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Posses strong fundamental technical aircraft knowledge.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of planning experience within related field.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking software (Experience in Quantum is considered an asset).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the materials, tools, and technical documents that are required for the completion of planned work is listed in company work scope templates.
  • Liaise with various business units at Avmax to determine best practices on utilizing shared resources effectively.
  • Review completed work packages determine the planned re-course, material, special equipment and tooling required to meet on-time completion.
  • Liaise with the various external contractors and agencies as required to determine availability of services when developing the production plan.
  • Determine technical data required for planning and execution of the work to be performed by production.
  • Develop and implement strategy to monitor and report on cost performance and schedule performance.
  • Monitor schedule performance and issues which impact project timeline.
  • Update and issue changes to customer work packages.
  • Complete assigned tasks as provided by the Planning Manager and/or Program Managers.
  • Develop project timeline, milestones based on production deliverables.
  • Shop floor workflow.
  • Shop Card/ Task Card flow out to Production Floor.
  • Communication with the Production Manager regarding task status and workflow.
  • Assist with the management of supplier lead time requirements/ expectations.
