Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-year technical school diploma.
- AME M2 License is considered an asset.
- PMP designation is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
- Posses strong fundamental technical aircraft knowledge.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of planning experience within related field.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with maintenance tracking software (Experience in Quantum is considered an asset).
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, notably Word and Excel.
Responsibilities:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the materials, tools, and technical documents that are required for the completion of planned work is listed in company work scope templates.
- Liaise with various business units at Avmax to determine best practices on utilizing shared resources effectively.
- Review completed work packages determine the planned re-course, material, special equipment and tooling required to meet on-time completion.
- Liaise with the various external contractors and agencies as required to determine availability of services when developing the production plan.
- Determine technical data required for planning and execution of the work to be performed by production.
- Develop and implement strategy to monitor and report on cost performance and schedule performance.
- Monitor schedule performance and issues which impact project timeline.
- Update and issue changes to customer work packages.
- Complete assigned tasks as provided by the Planning Manager and/or Program Managers.
- Develop project timeline, milestones based on production deliverables.
- Shop floor workflow.
- Shop Card/ Task Card flow out to Production Floor.
- Communication with the Production Manager regarding task status and workflow.
- Assist with the management of supplier lead time requirements/ expectations.
