POSITION SUMMARY:

As Production Planner with Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC you will oversee the planning and coordination of production activities, optimize inventory levels, and ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and problem-solving skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management, preferably within the metals industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and production optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in production planning software (e.g. ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate, monitor, and maintain production schedules to meet customer orders and deadlines.
  • Manage inventory levels ensuring adequate materials are available to meet customer orders.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of production with company goals.
  • Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and inventory records in our ERP system.
  • Ensure that production processes comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.
