As a Production Planner for our Scotch & Soda brand, you will play a key role in driving our production processes to new levels of efficiency and excellence. What You’ll Do:
- Production Scheduling: Create production schedules that optimize resources and ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop a detailed production calendar at the style/color level during the proto development phase.
- Capacity Planning: Manage production capacities, both in-house and with suppliers, to meet demand.
- Prebook fabrics and/or finished goods based on the buy plan following delivery negotiations.
- Transportation and Distribution: Oversee the logistics of transporting goods from suppliers to distribution centers, and monitor shipping costs (sea, air, and land).
- Proactively address production delays, quality issues, and other operational problems.
- Collaborate with finance, product, merchandising, and supply chain teams to define precise production plans.
- Supplier Communication: Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear and open communication.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with suppliers to enhance production processes, efficiency, and KPIs.
