The hours of work and shift patterns are: 08:00 – 17:00 or 07:30 - 16:30
Main Responsibilities:
As Production Quality Control Manager you will report to the Head of Operation and be responsible for supporting the production team. These will include:
- Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the team
- Identifying and proactively removing any potential health and safety risks
- Reporting and conducting investigations in line with company policies
- Controlling the product quality and standards required under contract and customer specifications by leading a team of Champions as they complete various roles and ensuring the smooth day-to-day service of the business and customers is maintained
- Communicating team objectives and goals and ensuring the Champions team completes tasks to the agreed standards and specifications
- Producing and delivering presentations directly to the end customer
- Attending customer sites and premises and representing the business
- Conducting and leading customer-quality panels
- Conducting audits aligned to specifications to ensure compliance with contractual and business standards
- Providing feedback to peer managers on concerns and benefits to identified standards and processing
- Working with the Operational and Technical teams on specifications
- Handling first-level HR responsibilities for the team, such as return to work, absence management, and performance management
- Investing your time in coaching and developing the Champions and your fellow peers on what good looks like to ensure the highest standard of service is delivered across the required operational working hours
- Ensuring that the skill set within the entire Champion team is maximized to cover every aspect of business requirements with contingency and upskilling for absences and holidays, optimizing service and efficiency
- Working alongside operational and function teams, FLMs, engineers and technicians, liaising with contractors, and executing plans safely and efficiently
- Proactively identifying solutions using insight, experience, as well as technical reports and audits to ensure that the customer expectations are met and operationally we keep moving forward.
