The Quality Inspectors are responsible for inspecting products at any point along the production cycle. This is done to check the parameters within each section of the process and whether they are in accordance with our standards.
RØDE is looking for quality inspectors across our campus’.

YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Prior QA/QC experience highly regarded
  • TAFE certified/diploma in mechanical or electrical field
  • Any quality certifications preferable
  • Experience in electronics and mechanical testing is advantageous
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings including fits and tolerances
  • Demonstratable experience with assembly work

Responsibilities:

  • Study engineering drawings and prepare an inspection plan
  • Carry out inspection as the product is being assembled
  • Monitor the process from start to finish and identify bottlenecks or possible areas of improvement
  • Modify inspection plan based on results of previous inspections
  • Generate non-conformance reports and follow-up till its resolved
  • Manage the inspection resources
  • Preparing inspection reports and releasing batches in the system
  • Conduct visual inspections on incoming parts
  • Using incoming good sampling standards for sample size
