Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for creating a detailed production schedule using SAP to meet customer demand requirements while minimizing inventory investment and maximizing capacity utilization and productivity in the production lines. The scheduler must ensure prepare the capacity analysis, manpower allocation, raw material available to program the production lines with efficiency. Scheduler must create data gathering analysis in terms on demand fluctuation in order to provide guidance for material planners to control inventory in the supply chain. Also, this position will oversee Master data creation for new part number launched to make sure the correct capacity balance for production lines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with corporate supply chain to receive plan orders and assign, schedule, maintain, and load the schedules that flow through assigned MRP controllers to meet customer demand.
  • Convert plan order to production orders according to demand requirements.
  • Analyze / calculate line capacity in order to balance / accomplish customer demands.
  • Analyze the flexibility of production lines to assign production shifts according people availability.
  • Analyze material delivery and move orders into customer request where possible.
  • Schedule the expedites orders in the production to make sure the accomplishment according to the customer needs.
  • Schedule PPAP order and track down the progress.
  • Monitoring the % scrap reported for production lines to balance production demands.
  • Provide scrap report in order to control de annex 24 in IMMEX program.
  • Work with maintenance department to program preventive maintenance during the year for line production lines.
  • Provide WIP report in order to control Production floor storage location, compare inventory in parts against inventory in usd.
  • Address MPS exception messages in SAP.
  • Measure and monitor the schedule attainment process. Participates in the daily TMOS meetings.
  • Participates in the weekly meeting for MPS, workplan, capacity demand.
  • Performs capacity evaluations and leveling for all the lines installed (including heat treatment production lines)
  • Makes recommendations on changes to work center availability, utilization, and rates.
  • Control / execute the Master Data creation process for launched part numbers for SJO plant.
  • Maintain / correct the master data using NPM process for FERTS & HALBs for SJO plant.
  • Monitoring tooling lifetime to assure the availability on tooling used to program the production lines.
  • Technically complete production orders and troubleshoot confirmation issues SAP.
