DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Production Scheduling Coordinator to join our team specialising in Supply Chain Planning for our Materials Department in Daventry, United Kingdom.
This role will be onsite working at Daventry with office-based hours.
This role is a temporary contract for up to 24 months with the potential to become permanent dependent on performance and business needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
    The compensation for this role is aligned with a local bargained or unionised agreement.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:

  • Efficient Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules that align with sales forecasts, plant capacity, and new business opportunities, ensuring customer demand is met.
  • Optimising Inventory Management: Collaborate with Material Planners, Operations, and Customer Service to optimise raw material, work-in-process, and finished goods stocking strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Follow standard work and quality procedures, collect master data, and work with Quality to address non-conforming materials promptly.
  • Effective Delivery Management: Support the creation of realistic and aligned production schedules, manage risks, and suggest improvements to minimise production disruptions.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Collect and analyse data to identify bottlenecks and other problematic areas and propose solutions to enhance production efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support teams, drive accountability, and participate in improvement projects.
  • Continuous Learning and Flexibility: Engage in training and personal development, remain flexible to perform miscellaneous duties, and demonstrate proficiency in core competencies to meet business goals.
  • Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards, and comply with HSE standards, policies, and procedures.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

  • Excellent Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and managing production schedules.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and Methodical Approach: Analyse data, identify issues and develop systematic solutions.
  • Organisational Skills and Attention to Detail: Being organised and detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in scheduling and inventory management.
