Responsibilities:
As a Production Standardization Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing product standardization strategies to streamline processes and improve product quality.
- Develop and maintain a manufacturing training academy to improve the workforce flexibility and career progression.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for standardized processes, including design standards, testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments of products and processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Analysing product performance data and customer feedback (Internal and external) to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements.
- Working with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure that standardized practices are followed throughout the production process.
- Staying current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to inform standardization efforts.
- Training and supporting team members in standardization practices and procedures.
- Be vocal and a multiplier around HSE and quality culture
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Have proven years of experience in product standardization, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, product lifecycle management, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Be proficient in, data analysis tools, project management software, power apps and scheduling tools.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Have proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
