Description:
ChampionX has an immediate need for a Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift at Alberta Oil Tool located in Edmonton, AB. This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in production supervision or manufacturing leadership role
- Strong leadership skills
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary education in manufacturing related discipline
Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.
- Execute production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization, production efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors and operators to achieve production targets and maintain high levels of quality.
- Ensure that production processes adhere to established quality standards and procedures.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to meet or exceed product quality specifications.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands and maintain efficient production flow.
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the production department, implementing best practices, lean methodologies, and automation to enhance productivity.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process changes to enhance overall efficiency.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising employee safety and product quality.
