JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Directly supervises hourly associates and directs resources as required.Oversees the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities.Manages the dispersal and distribution of materials for production. Maintains labor and material requirements to meet the daily production schedule.Oversees the work of production associates and coordinates with leaders of production support staff; communicates expectations and provides direction and training. Monitors work performance and provides feedback.Coordinates maintenance of production equipment. Oversees process control and quality process control.

• Führung von Produktionsmitarbeiter:innen durch Auswahl geeigneter Kandidat:innen, Schulung neuer Mitarbeiter:innen während der Eingliederungsphase, Coaching und/oder Durchführung von Disziplinarmaßnahmen (falls erforderlich)
• Kommunikation der Erwartungen an das Team sowie Planung, Überwachung und Bewertung der Arbeitsleistungen
• Aufrechterhaltung der Produktionkontinuität durch Beobachtung des Prozessvolumens und Unterbreitung von Versserungsempfehlungen (bei Bedarf)
• Sichert, durch Überwachung des Fortschritts, Beschleunigung des Materialflusses und Lösung von Issues, die planmäßige Durchführung von Produktionsprozessen ab
• Verbessert den Ablauf der Prozesse durch Beseitigung von Störungen, Analyse von Verzögerungen und Testen neuer Prozessmodelle
• Aufzeichnung der Produktiondaten durch Erzeugung von Produktionsberichten und Berechnung von Ausbeuten/Erlösen
• Sicherung des Prozessflusses durch Weitergabe von Produktionsstatus, Anforderungen und Issues an die nächste Schicht
• Sicherung eines gesunden Produktionsumfelds durch Einhaltung der Unternehmensstandards und -richtlinien sowie der gesetzlichen Vorschriften
• Trägt zum Erfolg des Produktionsprozesses und des Unternehmens bei, indem Möglichkeiten zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung genutzt und andere bei der Erfüllung ihrer Aufgaben unterstützt werden
• Alle anderen Aufgaben wie zugewiesen

English:

• Manages and leads Production Workers by selecting suitable candidates, providing training to new workers during their integration phase, offering coaching and making disciplinary actions when needed
• Communicates expectations to the team, planning, monitoring and appraising employee performance
• Maintains production process continuity by observing process volumes and recommending adjustments where needed
• Completes production processes by monitoring progress, expediting material flow and resolving issues
• Improves process workflow by eliminating stoppages, analyzing delays and testing new methods
• Records production data by completing daily shift production reports and calculating yields/recoveries
• Maintains process flow by communicating production status, requirements and issues to the next shift
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy production environment by adhering to organization standards/policies and legal regulations, alerting others regarding concerns when needed
• Contributes to production process and organization success by welcoming opportunities for continuous improvement and by helping others to accomplish their tasks
• All other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION

Deutsch

• Dreijährige, abgeschlossene fachspezifische Berufsausbildung in einem Metallberuf, z.B. Zerspanungsmechaniker/in
• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene qualifizierte Weiterbildung zum/zur Industriemeister/in Metall, Techniker/in oder technischen Betriebswirt/in
• Mindestens 6 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einem Metallberuf
• Erste Erfahrungen in der Mitarbeiterführung
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, gute Englischkenntnisse

English:

• Completed vocational training in a metal profession, e.g. cutting machine operator
• Successfully completed further training as an industrial specialist in metal working, technology or technical business administration
• At least 6 years professional experience in a metal-related profession
• Initial experience in employee leadership
• Good communication skills
• Very good written and spoken German, good knowledge of English
