Description:
JOB OVERVIEW
As the Production Supervisor, you will lead and oversee daily operations within our HACCP Manufacturing facility located at Metcalfe, Ottawa, ON. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. This role will be critical in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining product quality, and fostering a safe, positive, and high-performance workplace.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with food safety & Health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure production processes adhere to food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices.
