We are looking for a high energy Shop Foreman, with proven experience in the sign industry, to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans. The foreman will work in collaboration with the Operations Manager to ensure that our orders are completed and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong working knowledge of CNC machining and metal fabrication is an asset
• Supervisory or Foreman experience required
• Ability to effectively manage and instruct a team of employees
• Ability to perform hands on work when required
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail

• Be responsible for overseeing a team of employees on the shop floor.
• Continue to build on team retention through the creation of a shop environment that holds individuals accountable and listens to feedback.
• Ensures that all work is being performed in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance and instruction to workers regarding safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Monitors work progress and quality to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents or violation.
• Support Inventory Control Specialist with inventory activities
• Provide training for production staff on equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
• Support team members with guidance and resources to enhance productivity.
