THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team in Laverton. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our strong safety culture, overseeing concrete production processes, coordinating deliveries, managing site maintenance, and operating equipment such as front-end loaders and forklifts.

ABOUT YOU:

Strong team player with self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Demonstrated commitment to safety and results-oriented work ethic
Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Physically capable of performing all duties associated with the position
Essential driver’s license, with front-end loader or forklift competency preferred
Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities:

Take ownership of health and safety for the area, ensuring compliance with safety rules and procedures
Maintain quality management systems and oversee production activities according to schedules.
Organize and supervise resources required for scheduled production activities, including allocation of work, asset maintenance, and liaison with production management.
Optimize production efficiency and contribute to production plans.
Input into schedules, allocate work, supervise asset use, and provide daily support to teams.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental rules, and oversee hazard reporting.
Liaise with site Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, supervise workmanship, and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as necessary.
Lead communication processes and ensure accurate recording of production data..
Communicate goals to the team and support a strong team culture.
