Production Supervisor / Production Manufacturing

Our client is in the Manufacturing Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive collaborative efforts to ensure quality and compliance during the shift.
• Make timely, fact-based decisions impacting product quality and food safety.
• Promote behaviours that deliver high-quality products while ensuring compliance with the company policies, local, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare for and participate in internal/external quality audits, investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitor and improve performance metrics, including expenses, headcount, overtime, OEE, production output, MUV, scrap, and CIP.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Operational Excellence tools for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Drive OEE improvements by identifying drivers and executing improvement plans.
• Organize daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with planning and support functions.
• Align priorities between manufacturing and support teams for seamless operations.
• Coach and guide the team to meet performance goals and plan and manage team training and development.
• Ensure EHS performance compliance for the shift or production line.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Min Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Food Technology or related field
• Min 5 years of experience in a Pharma, F&B manufacturing or related industry
• Exposure in using six sigma will be advantage
• Knowledge in Process control and plant financial
• Experience and knowledge in Continuous Improvement Projects.
