THE OPPORTUNITY

Goodyear Tyres is looking for a Production/Supply planner to join the Retread Supply Chain team. As a Production/Supply Planner, you will interact closely with production, quality, supply chain, sales, product development and suppliers. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating schedules, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining high standards across all departments. Do you have an eye for the big picture but also for the most important details? Then you would fit well into our team.

EDUCATION

Ideally a degree in economics, preferably with a focus on Supply Chain or High school diploma with experience in Production/Supply planning or logistics or completed commercial training, e.g. as an industrial clerk in supply chain or a forwarding and logistics clerk (m/f/d).

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Team player who enjoys working with others but can also work independently.
• Confident in using MS Office, especially Excel, ideally also with SAP/ERP.
• Structured and solution-oriented approach with an analytical understanding.
• Ability to recognize problems at an early stage and to find solutions proactively.
• Good communication and organizational skills required with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and internal departments in a diverse environment.

• Coordination of order processing and delivery planning for retreading customers in line with the customer requirements and Goodyear’s process guidelines and strategy.
• Creating and adjusting the monthly production schedule based on material availability, overall capacity, factory strategy, and customer demand.
• Ensuring the availability of our products for the customers.
• Coordinate with our inspection and casing management centers as well as casing suppliers.
• Analysis of the customer requirements, planned production quantities and inventories.
• Coordination and implementation of actions in case of supply shortages in close alignment with the stakeholders.
• Inventory management for our products in GY warehouses.
• Support and collaborate in various projects.
• Evaluation of relevant KPIs and customer-related reporting (such as the supplier ratings of the customers, delivery performance, forecast accuracy, etc.)
