About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our ever-evolving Production Support Team. As a team, we offer platform agnostic support to the business and end customers as well as supporting the project landscape in deploying regular release cycles ensuring we transition into a BAU position safely.
We undertake an extensive suite of monitoring and oversight responsibilities on a regular basis, ensuring that each business day BAU can run smoothly.
We interact with all areas of the business as well as third parties.
You will be responsible for supporting the wider team in defect analysis, handling of new queries coming into the team as well as some of the key oversight activities we carry out.
You will be responsible for the support and stability of the Wrap & Elevate platforms. Supporting the management of third parties & senior management including the critical relationship with our third party supplier FNZ, and support the Platform Development with regular releases/updates to the production environment.
We are open to applicants based across the UK as this can be a home-based role which requires travel nationally
The role will involve:
- Support and assist the Production Support Analysts with Issue Management and Remediation activities.
- Predominantly focusing on Request Management and daily workarounds/monitoring.
- Support the throughput of queries into the team mailbox. Assisting the Analysts where possible in helping to resolve queries.
- Support and proactively instigate activities to improve the capability of areas of the business. Looking to identify common trends and themes for wider dissemination to appropriate Teams within Abrdn.
- To be able to assist with the support of third parties integrated into the Wrap & Elevate Platforms.
- Support the Technical Analysts in the integration of BAU with Platform Development phases/projects making sure that they are delivered without any degradation to the Wrap/Elevate platform.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Ability to work under pressure and to handle large workload.
- Ability to handle/support multiple queries simultaneously.
- Understand the WRAP market
- Excellent organisation skills.
- Able to demonstrate a strong customer focus.
- Good judgment and ability to make decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with wide variety of people / levels.
- Ability to identify breaches on the Wrap/Elevate Platform such as client money, data protection etc.
- Influencing skills & decisiveness.
