POSITION SUMMARY
The Production System Engineer (PSE) Supervisor is the technical leader for both pre and post sales implementation of Flex Technology Group’s (FTG) production business portfolio. The PSE role requires technical expertise on the hardware, software, and services. The PSE is a valuable member of the account team, and they are expected to be a customer trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle. The PSE will engage in the sales cycle to ensure that the FTG team is being innovative, building trust and credibility, and that we are viewed as industry thought leaders. The PSE will help our customers improve their production print processes to improve productivity, enhance margin, and improve their customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology company.
- Strong technical background with knowledge of networking, printing systems, graphic design software, and system administration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Experience working with customers in a support or consulting role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed; driver’s license and a good driving record are required.
- Strong print color management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited educational institution.
- Efi Fiery Professional Certification.
- Certified G7+® Expert from Idealliance.
Responsibilities:
- Support the achievement of FTG Production Group’s financial targets.
- Assist FTG’s sales and production sales professionals to achieve their financial targets.
- Demonstrate early involvement in the sales process with the account team.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and features of our solutions.
- Responsible for coordinating, scheduling, performing post sales implementation, customer training, and on- going customer support to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Provide technical support to customers during the post-sales phase, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship(s) with our customers to ensure their requirements are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Function as a liaison between our customers and our internal teams to communicate feedback, requests, and potential upsell and cross sale opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical information to enhance the customer experience.
- Manage the implementation process and training for any third-party resources; ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Responsible curing the customer’s acceptance that the implementation and training has been completed.
- Perform on-going product, technical, and skill development training.
