Here at Collins Aerospace, we are looking to recruit for a Production Team Member for our site in Shannon, Ireland. In this role you will work under direct supervision, perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. You will also be required to process parts received for repair in accordance with applicable procedures and within acceptable time limits and quality standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disassemble all assigned parts, strip, clean and prepare for winding or repair under supervision.
- Clean and dip all items according to procedures
- Clean and paint all items according to procedures.
- Make and prepare coils.
- Prepare kits for winding.
- Wind, connect and test all components where winding procedures are established.
- Assist in the development of specifications, tooling and winding procedures where procedures are not established.
- Train and direct the activities of lower grades.
- Read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions
- Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools
- Demonstrate proper use of electrical/mechanical measuring devices
- Test and calibrate parts
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
