Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

The Production Technician - Deployable Systems primarily responsibilities include:

  • Production and modification of equipment and systems under technical supervision
  • Construction and testing of electrical, data and RF cables using engineering approved schematics, drawings and written or verbal instructions
  • Prepare and then integrate hardware, electronic, mechanical, and optical equipment in accordance with engineering approved installation instructions, guides, and data.
  • Complete post installation alignments and adjustments of equipment followed by complete production testing in accordance with approved test procedures using simple and complex test equipment.
  • Support further fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement of installed Repairable Items (RI’s) and hardware post-production testing to ensure the equipment is fully compliant with the approved design specifications

To be successful in this role you will also have:

  • Previous production or modification experience on electronic or data systems, RF Communications systems, and related equipment
  • Maintenance of digital and analogue process control systems
  • Previous experience adhering to safety procedures and WHS guidelines in a production or maintenance environment
  • Understanding of Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, ICT, Security and Engineering Experience using MS Office and other relevant software application
