Responsibilities:

  • Align and secure engine components according to work instructions
  • Install gaskets, seals, bearings, hoses, covers, and visual components
  • Ensure parts and materials used in assembly are defect-free
  • Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
  • Verify alignment of engine components using schematics and part prints
  • Inspect parts and materials for quality defects
  • Conduct audits and quality inspections to address known defects
  • Perform torque audits, leak tests, and visual inspections on engines
  • Handle shipping, receiving, and invoice verification for inventory accuracy
  • Ensure received and delivered materials meet quality standards
  • Repack and organize parts for warehouse storage or assembly area delivery
  • Operate forklifts and tuggers for material movement
  • Efficiently deliver and remove materials
  • Submit and support resolution of C.P.S. Continuous Improvement cards
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and area-specific instructions
  • Provide process information to supervisors and managers
  • Occasionally participate in training and development for the quality department
  • Perform any other assigned duties
