REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work outside in the elements (-20°F to 90°F), including rain, snow, and wind
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Construction (electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc.)

Responsibilities:
The Production Technician is responsible for assisting with the creation, installation, and takedown of various production assets (light sculptures, artistic displays, interactive features, etc.). This includes a variety of tasks, such as:
- Technical installations of production features at the direction of the site Production Supervisor (PS)
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installations and lighting elements throughout the season
- Preparing and inventorying various materials and assets
- Assisting the PS with any production-related tasks
- Exploring new technologies and designing potential production elements at the direction of the PS
- Assisting the build/event team as needed when not working on priority production tasks
- Working with a variety of different materials, including wood, plastics, snow, and ice
Hours: Full-time hours from the beginning of our setup season to the completion of our open season. Overtime is available and often necessary during our busy weeks. Dates of employment for the season can be somewhat flexible but generally are from early June through mid to late March.
