Description:

Production Test Technician
A new opportunity for a Production Test Technician has arisen within the team at Curtiss-Wright. The ideal candidate is self-motivated individual with demonstrable ability to work independently and deliver to agreed timescales. Under close supervision, the operations technician performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations.
We are looking for a Production Test Technician to join our Dublin, Ireland Team!
As our Production Test Technician, you will be responsible for, testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance. Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes for our Aerospace Instrumentation Division.

Your Challenge:

  • Testing products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance.
  • Working with Engineers in set-up and calibration tasks
  • Responsible for calibration database (equipment and production jigs)
  • Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered.
  • Maintaining lab and testing equipment regularly.
  • Discussing findings with other team members.
  • Implementing changes in testing protocols as required.
  • Consulting with management about testing results.
  • Reporting any issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes.
  • Correct ESD storage of components, work-in-progress, and finished products.
  • Adhere to all ISO procedures and contribute to continuous process improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Diploma in Electronics or similar.
  • Experience in a similar role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office specially advanced level in Word and Excel.
  • Analytical thinking and abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and decisive knowledge of appropriate testing methods.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Comfortable with industry-specific testing equipment
  • Knowledge of testing equipment maintenance
