Professional Engineer, Structural (Modular Building)

JOB OVERVIEW:

Working together with our global team at Sankyo Frontier, the Professional Engineer, Structural (Modular Building) is responsible for leading and delivering research, conceptual development, simulation and actualisation of modular building products alongside various departments in the company and local authorities, providing technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields.
• Prior Working Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in building projects
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Language Skills: English (Working proficiency).
• Specific skills: Project management, AutoCAD, MATLAB, Solidworks, ANSYS or other relevant software.
• Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles, practices, and regulations.Able to work from October 2024 onwards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Personal characteristics: Adaptable, strong leadership skills, good interpersonal communications skills, analytical and problem-solving, self-motivated, friendly, honest, team-player, humble and able to think from a global perspective.Experience: Experience with steel construction & modular building projects preferred.
