Description:
Responsibilities:
- You have a bachelor degree in Mechanical, Materials or Chemical engineering from an accredited university.
- You have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an aerospace/military production environment.
- You have knowledge on aircraft interior materials and processes such as surface treatments, coatings, protective finishes, leather, upholstery, woodworking etc.
- You are knowledgeable about typical military and/or aerospace industry standards such as CMH-17, MIL specs, Federal regulations, ASTM, ISO and SAE specifications.
- You have knowledge about flammability requirements according to FAR 25 regulations.
- You are proficient in engineering design principles and reviewing drawings.
- You are adept at solving engineering problems in a high-pressure environment and can deal with issues quickly and independently.
- You have excellent communication skills in English and French (written and oral).
- You must be able to work in a team environment and interact constantly with Senior Professionals and Technicians from other value stream functions (Methods, Quality, Logistics etc.).
- You have worked with CATIA V5 and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
