Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver on time, engineering projects and activities related to major milestones for one of many existing and/or new platforms;
  • Manage cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule and budget of engineering projects;
  • Lead and coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
  • Enforce adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities
  • Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope, schedule, and budget;
  • Manage and establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities, complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these priorities;
  • Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
  • Participate and/or coordinate within the internal safety and security processes to assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Prepare and provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation;
  • Prepare and present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization;
  • Coordinate Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews;
  • Coordinate and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary;
  • Coordinate formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance Documents, Service Bulletins etc..);
