ABOUT THIS ROLE
JET is rapidly expanding its Product & Technology offering across all of its markets, and this is an opportunity to work with the commercial and technical teams to manage the key programmes in the Logistics space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive cross-functional development teams focused on commercial outcomes. Work closely with product, business analysis, design, engineering, finance, and commercial to deliver value for the business.
Work with teams to ensure product and technical work/programmes are broken down, sequenced, and resourced in a way that delivers maximum business value, minimizes risk, and achieves our quarterly/annual company objectives.
Form cross-functional programme plans; understanding and managing/mitigating any dependencies, risks, issues, blockers and actions
Review, facilitate and realign Agile and ways of working ceremonies, processes and practice to ensure effective, lightweight agile delivery.
Manage peer groups and senior stakeholders to the board level. Report and communicate progress to all stakeholders.
Support the Head of Deliver as necessary in managing the current portfolio of projects.
Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Winnipeg or Toronto office & 2 days working from home
Reporting to: Head of Delivery, Logistics
THESE ARE SOME OF THE KEY INGREDIENTS TO THE ROLE:
- Experience in the technology, digital, e-commerce, or delivery industry
- Proven track record of delivering multiple technical or digital projects and/or products that meet business outcomes and drive value for the business.
- Experience cultivating and facilitating Agile (Scrum and Kanban), Lean, and Waterfall methodologies within software development teams.
- Peer, senior, and executive stakeholder management, including influencing, reporting, and communication.
- A history of working with distributed and remote software development teams.
