Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Professional Level Civil Engineer in a client-facing role to assist in design and construction of municipal water and wastewater projects for our Florida clients.

Responsibilities:
- Performs civil engineering work for projects related to water and wastewater treatment, storage and conveyance facilities
- Assist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater management
- Support the civil engineering team with preparation of specifications, technical memoranda, cost estimates, and reports
- Assists with preparation of permits and coordination with regulatory agencies
- Assists in fulfilling contract obligations and maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Strong understanding of civil engineering practices including principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
- 4 -8 years of directly-relevant civil engineering experience
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex nature.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with local utility codes and utility permitting process
- Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations/modeling software for stormwater management (StormWise™, InfoSWMM, HEC-RAS).
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
