JOB SUMMARY
The Psychology department at the University of Colorado is accepting applications for the Professional Research Assistant position. This position will work with our rodent models.

WHO WE ARE
The research and writing that you will be involved with focuses on immunologic regulation of rodent models of ALS and MS, and therapeutic approaches for same.
Responsibilities:
Work with our rodent models.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Assist with upcoming studies of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis including model induction, behavioral assessments, drug testing and post-mortem tissue analyses.
- Learn and utilize confocal microscopy and Imaris analysis of tissues from rodent models of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and multiple sclerosis.
- Learn and contribute to all relevant surgeries, tissue collection procedures and analyses.
- Learn and contribute to data entry and analysis.
- Learn and contribute to the behavioral analyses of animal models of multiple sclerosis.
- Contribute to general lab upkeep, supplies, and reagents.
