JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in a specific department.
• Develop and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and present findings.
• Advise and mentor students, including thesis and dissertation supervision.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and administrative tasks.
• Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and grade assignments.
• Stay updated on field developments, attending conferences and workshops.
• Collaborate with colleagues on research projects and grants.
• Develop and maintain course materials, syllabi, and online platforms.
• Contribute to institutional service and community engagement.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in relevant field (e.g., Physics, Literature).
• Significant teaching experience (5+ years).
• Established research and publication record.
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse students, colleagues, and administrators.
• Commitment to academic advising, mentoring, and student success.
• Certification or training in teaching, research, or academic administration (e.g., CTL certification).
