POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will be responsible to teach in a classroom and/or online, as needed and provide program support for course development in Product Design & Development (Industrial Design) program offered through School of Communications, Media, Arts and design.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design (or equivalent), Master’s degree preferred.
- Three years of relevant industry work experience
- Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following:
- Product rendering techniques (non-digital)
- 3D modeling & Form prototyping
- Design Thinking & Design Communication
- Experience in teaching and course material development is an asset.
- Demonstrated competent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community.
