We are seeking an outstanding Director of Research to help us drive excellence and innovation in rural health research. This leadership role involves fostering collaboration, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring our research addresses the unique challenges of rural communities.
As the Director of Research, you will:
- Develop and lead innovative research programs addressing rural health challenges.
- Build and manage multidisciplinary research teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Secure substantial external funding and publish research in top-tier journals.
- Strengthen relationships with rural health stakeholders at local, national, and international levels.
- Oversee the financial management of grants and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Support the professional development of research staff and supervise postgraduate research projects.
- Represent the School in University and external committees, shaping policy and driving strategic initiatives.
- Promote community engagement and lead professional activities to elevate MRH’s research profile.
