  • Excellent IT skills with experience in Excel and ability to manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team supporting both the Production Planning & Components Programming departments. As a Nester, you will report to the Head of Manufacturing and Site Leader to operate at Group Level, receiving orders of all product types for effective Load Planning and closure of Production batches for our Group Assembly sites.
As Components Support/Nester you will programme and plan the work on the profile cutting machines at our Components site in Corwen. You will gain an understanding of how the machines operate and how to create nests to ensure the machines run in a safe & efficient manner creating high quality parts with the best material utilisation. You will sort and issue nests to the Profile department in priority order & manage any drawing revision changes, interpret instructions and issues arising, and then implement actions to resolve effectively.
Excellent communication skills are required to all levels of the business, collaborating with the factory floor departments, liaising with our Hauliers and issuing reports to management.
Analytical in approach, you will be a problem solver, proactive in planning effectively to prevent and rectify issues, utilising resource and promoting efficient working. You will demonstrate accuracy in your work with high attention to detail in handling large volumes of data, to schedule Load Plans. The role is deadline orientated; you must maintain KPIs in a fast-paced environment and operate within Adherence Schedules. Full training will be given for this exciting opportunity.
You will required to support our profile department and liase with relevant team leaders to ensure that the machines run safely, and that parts are produced to a high standard. The successful candidate for this position will be involved at factory floor level, and provide improvements to work flow, quality of parts and the manual handling of material.
