Title: Medical Transportation Program Assistant - INTERNAL ONLY
Salary: $57,417 - $61,977 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term – until Feb 28 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday
Location: Metro Vancouver (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, an understanding of First Nations cultural principles and protocols in work situations.
- Awareness of the importance of First Nations cultural identity as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle for individuals within a community.
- Ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of data entry, manipulation, and retrieval techniques using a variety of automated systems and software.
- Knowledge of community based programs and services.

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Medical Transportation Program Assistant, you will provide support to the Health Benefits, Medical Transportation unit by managing data received from First Nations, providing analysis and developing written documents and reports. The Assistant provides support to stakeholders through ongoing communications and training initiatives.
