Location: Hybrid, meetings on site in DC as needed.
Position Description: The Program Analyst supports the planning, implementation, and evaluation of federal government programs.
Minimum/General Experience: 10 years of experience supporting federal projects/programs
Minimum Education: Bachelors’ Degree in an associated discipline

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Above average experience supporting federal government program planning and analysis
  • Above average experience supporting federal government program audits and evaluations
  • Above average experience supporting federal government strategic planning
  • Above average experience supporting federal government metrics
  • Above average experience supporting risk management
  • Above average ability to support project deliverables, work products, and activities
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
  • Effective in interpersonal relationship building and collaboration
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience supporting a federal contractor providing services to the federal government
  • Knowledge of federal civilian agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs (preferred), Defense Health Agency, Health and Human Services) (preferred)

Security: Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years

Federal Civilian Public Trust Consists of a review of up to but not limited to:

  • Covers 5-10 year period and in some instances lifetime events
  • OPM Security Investigations Index (SII)
  • DOD Defense Central Investigations Index (DCII)
  • National Agency Check (NAC) records
  • FBI name check
  • FBI fingerprint check
  • Credit report check
  • Written inquiries to previous employers and references listed on the application for employment
  • Potential interviews with the subject, spouse, neighbors, supervisor, coworkers
  • Law enforcement check
  • Court records check
  • Education check- Attendance and Degrees

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in audits and evaluations related to large scale programs
  • Supports program analysis and strategic planning to ensure project success
  • Supports the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Assists with the coordination of project tasks and activities (e.g., meetings, schedules, event planning)
  • Supports responses to Congressional inquiries
  • Supports program strategic planning, governance, and policy team tasks
  • Conducts accurate and detailed metrics tracking and reporting
  • Supports the identification, tracking, analyzing, managing, and mitigating risks and issues
