ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years of recent and related experience administering language learning and extra-curricular programs for international students, preferably in a post-secondary education environment.
  • Experience organizing and disseminating course and program information to current and prospective students/parents/guardians.
  • Experience organizing logistics for courses, workshops, and events.
  • Experience with organizing and supporting summer camps, ESL learning, and enrichment programs.
  • Experience responding to inquiries from students in the language learning and international student demographic. Experience responding and navigating inquiries from parents and guardians with consideration of student confidentality.
  • Experience recording and verifying financial transactions.
  • Experience with recruitment and training of casual staff. Ability to provide guidance and orientation to casual staff.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Intermediate skills with Adobe Creative Suite, or other similar editing tools.
  • Intermediate skills with ROSI/ACORN, Degree Explorer, or other similar enterprise database solutions/CRM systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated time-management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and organize work, and meet tight deadlines while able to pay attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Responding to enquiries from and providing detailed information to current/prospective students, parents, and guardians
  • Tracking and monitoring enrollments and informing management of enrollment numbers
  • Coordinating the preparation and distribution of program and/or course material
  • Maintaining course information on student information systems
  • Organizing,summarizing and circulating event and program evaluations
  • Providing detailed information on eligibility requirements, procedures and deadlines
  • Determining logistical details and activities for events and/or programming
  • Serving as a resource to others by providing (non-supervisory) job-related guidance
