Description:

Programming Coordinator, Canadian Networks
Blue Ant Media’s Program Planning team is currently seeking an organized, experienced, and deadline driven Programming Coordinator to provide network scheduling and administrative support for our streaming networks. The person in this position will report directly to the Senior Director, Programming & Analytics. The candidate must be flexible, detail oriented, a self-starter, highly organized, collaborative, and able to multi-task cross-functionally with many teams/people and requests.

What You’ll Be Doing…

  • Manage the input of the network’s global program schedule(s) into Broadview (scheduling software) as well as any updates to the schedule, ensuring all programming data is current and accurate
  • Assist with development of programming schedule, including strategic planning and creative use of inventory (i.e., stunts, marathons, global holidays)
  • Ensures program inventory information (titles, episodes, descriptions) is accounted for and accurate in Broadview scheduling database
  • Act as a liaison between scheduling and various internal departments to communicate schedule changes and field various requests for program information
  • Serve as the point of contact for listing services, ensuring programming information is accurate and complete
  • Monitor the competitive cable landscape and update tools with pertinent information
  • Develop and execute programing and research projects as needed
  • Participate in content acquisitions pipeline; source, receive, screen and provide feedback on pitches for Canadian Channels

What You’ll Bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Relevant work experience in television, preferably within scheduling, programming, development and/or research experience a plus
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Candidate must be extremely detail oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with a broad range of constituencies
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable liaising with clients and colleagues in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical assistance to clients and team members
  • Ability to self-manage projects as well as execute on complex instructions using good judgment
  • Should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
