The Role You Could Play
The Program Delivery Lead – Retail will champion change and transformation by bringing strategic projects to life in our stores. You will play a critical role in scoping, sizing, forecasting the retail requirements, prioritising new initiatives, reporting to key stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution. Deeply understanding and anticipating the needs and priorities of our retail team (e.g. customer-first, operations, performance, capability) you will champion these throughout the discovery, business case creation, process design and development stages.
The Program Delivery Lead – Retail will manage all facets of rollout that relate to retail teams, including but not limited to, coordinating launch activities, ensuring adoption, monitoring desired outcomes, managing risks, and transitioning to BAU. Strong planning, reporting and organisational skills will be key to the success of this role.

Key responsibilities and deliverables also include:

  • Partner with other teams in ideation and discovery phase to gather requirements, perform an impact assessment, and ensure they have all relevant retail considerations to accurately scope and size new initiatives.
  • Facilitate the retail endorsement, prioritization, and resource allocation process
  • Support design and development for projects and initiatives impacting retail, considering the impacts of change and adoption
  • Regular status reporting and analysis of lead indicators that provide insight into delivery success
  • Identify and manage risks that relate to realizing desired outcomes and benefits
  • Project manage the activities and resources surrounding retail readiness, implementation, hypercare and transition to BAU
  • Act as the liaison for key stakeholders to communicate and escalate information relevant to retail

What You Will Bring
This is a highly collaborative role, partnering with many cross-functional stakeholder groups as in-flight projects will need effective and consistent governing. Playing a pivotal role, the Program Delivery Lead – Retail will track and report on project health, retail-related risks, and ensure key stakeholders are well informed and engaged with relevant and actionable information throughout the end-to-end journey.

In addition, the successful candidate will also have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing a broad range of stakeholders (ideally 2+ years)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience building relationships, working collaboratively and influencing
  • Highly adaptable with strong reporting and communication capabilities
  • Previous retail store and/or central operations experience is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and ability to communicate at all levels of the business
  • Organised & disciplined way of working, across multiple moving projects & expectations
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity as plans move from ideation through to commencement
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers & subject matter experts
