Medicine Hat College invites applications for a course development expert for the School of Heath and Community Services to redesign and rebuild Introductory Communication for Helping Professional (IDST 100).
Responsibilities:
Introductory Communication for Helping Professionals (IDST 100) is an important, foundational course within the School of Health and Community Services that sets students up for success in the rest of their academic programs. The SMEs will work in collaboration with the Dean, the Chair, and the Centre for Innovation and Teaching Excellence (CITE) team to refresh this course, with a focus on identifying gaps, exploring open educational resources, aligning course assessments to learning outcomes, and developing new lab manuals. This project is to be completed by June 30, 2025.
