Toomey Residential and Community Services is looking for a dynamic Program Director for our Developmental Disability Services!
The Program Director of DD Support Services provides overall leadership and strategic direction to all programs within the developmental disabilities support services department. Provides leadership to supervisory program staff ensuring operational efficiency, and the achievement of established programmatic goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and recommend programmatic changes and strategies to serve individuals receiving services.
• Network with other community agencies, staff and departments to improve the quality and results of all programs.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of budgets, maintaining records as appropriate.
• Adhere to all oversight agencies, state and federal regulations pertaining to programs under their supervision.
• Hire, provide orientation, train, supervise, evaluate and coach all supervisory staff.

• Maintain guidelines and policies as established by the funding sources and Toomey Residential and Community Services.
• Represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
  Qualifications:
  Education and/or Experience Required at Entry: Bachelor degree with five to eight years of relevant experience and supervisory experience required. Master degree and eight or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.
  Licenses/Certificate/Clearances: A valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation; registered and insured vehicle; must be able to use own vehicle for work purposes. NYS Central Registry Clearance, NYS Justice Center Fingerprinting and background check.
