JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As Program Director for GE Aerospace Programs, you will directly report to the Product Management and Customer Support responsible, will own these programs portfolio from an economic and an execution point of view (revenues, contribution margin, demand management, achievement of deliverables and milestones).
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in Program Management (SPM/PD positions) or equivalent roles.
- Experience in managing similar product portfolio in terms of size and complexity.
- Knowledge of engine and components market.
- Deep knowledge of business plan and contracts.
- Good knowledge of lean tools and Flight Deck with demonstrated application in the daily activity.
- Ability to lead across functional and multi-cultural teams.
- Appropriate communication skills with all levels of internal and external organizations also at Senior levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proven negotiation ability.
- Strong influencer, results oriented, change agent.
- Fluent written and spoken Italian and English.
- Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop a robust and lasting relationship with the GEA product lines by enhancing collaboration addressing their needs and priorities through effective partnership and feedback analysis, actively attending to the various formal and unformal meetings and sessions (as Program Review meetings, Programs NPI gates and progress mtg’s, GEA PCB’s, productivity reviews).
- Be accountable to achieve Company targets for GEA programs, business’s economics (revenues, and contribution margin).
- Drive productivity in agreement with targets set and agreed with GEA.
- Manage the programs forecast in terms of QMI, forecasts, Budget / Strategy, Pricing.
- Drive and coordinate NPI efforts (as for example T901) in the respect of agreed timing and costs (both recurring and not recurring).
- Assess all potential risks affecting the programs and own the programs’ risk register, including applicable mitigation plans in terms of identification and execution.
- Co-own with GSC Materials the programs demand identifying priorities based on critical part numbers for the Customers, coordinating the achievement of the Line of Balance to recover delinquencies.
- Manage the product configuration both for modifications internally generated or flowed down by GEA minimizing generation of obsolescence.
- Manage and support the internal operating rhythm (PCB, CCC, SPMT, Bowler, WOR, MOR, Program reviews and gates).
- Collaborate with ITO and Finance to provide to GEA the appropriate information (costs and prices where applicable) needed to issue to Avio Aero purchased orders for legacy and new business. Based on issued PO’s coordinate with ITC to have the proper set of licenses in place to avoid shipment disruptions.
- Evolve and grow the GEA Programs organization with a specific focus on Flight Deck daily utilization.
- Define team structures, set objectives, and foster the development of both hard and soft skills in alignment with the Program.
- Management competences model. Inspire and engage the team and support their professional growth.
- Influence & manage the matrix by proactively solicits dialogue and collaboration with peers and cross functional team member to create solutions that drive results.
- Be an active member of OTR Leadership team supporting his responsible for what concerns transversal improvement activities.
