COMPANY: WISE PATH RECOVERY CENTERS - WILLIAMSON, WV

Wise Path Recovery Centers - Williamson, WV (in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services) is in search of a mission driven, experienced leader to join our team as the Program Director of our facility in Williamson, West Virginia, we have 46 beds on the third floor of the new Williamson Health & Wellness building, which previously operated as Williamson Memorial Hospital. Our program is dedicated to detox stabilization and short-term residential treatment for both men and women. The facility’s purpose is to help stabilize symptoms of substance use disorder (SUD) and create a smoother transition to an outpatient program or aftercare services.
The Program Director is responsible for the overall success of the program and overseeing all aspect of the operations while executing the company vision.

In this leadership role the Program Director will….

  • Establish a team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.
  • Administer the overall daily operations, implement company policies and procedures and ensures compliance with contract requirements and all applicable governmental standards and regulations.
  • Direct recruitment and retention of the facility team including onboarding and offboarding, coaching, orientation, performance evaluations and educational planning of counseling staff
  • Create and support a positive, professional, team-oriented, harassment free work environment by understanding and complying with the company’s policies and practicing exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ensure team member maintenance of accurate and current records on each client according to the facility’s procedure for client records.
  • Coordinate with oversight agencies to ensure quality of care.
  • Coordinate and partner with the staff of other agencies and organizations in order to provide the best treatment for each client.
  • Ensure team member adherence to the approved treatment schedule.
  • Ensure client rights are enforced as outlined in policy and procedure manual.
  • Improve employee and client retention rates through active communication and problem-solving efforts.
  • Complete incident investigations and summaries for regulatory agencies, as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing and regulatory standards and enforce adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies
  • Partner with senior leadership to review financial and non-financial reports to identify trends and opportunities; create innovative solutions, manage the program/facility/salary budget
  • Partner with Business Development team to identify and engage referral sources
  • Engage in community events to further establish relationships and reinforce the Program commitment to the area
  • Promote and adhere to the workplace values of integrity, respect, trust, teamwork, quality, and excellence.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in human services, healthcare, addiction medicine, or behavioral health required
  • 5+ years of people and team management experience with a proven track record of growing and developing high-functioning teams
  • Seasoned leader comfortable leading through change and ambiguity with the ability to connect dots across complex and ever-changing processes and systems
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute, including how to sequence events and milestones, plan resources, execute against tight timelines and measure progress and success
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, revenue cycle, business development, etc.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • CPR certification required/must be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
