Program Director II - Membership & Fitness

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Program Director II directs all aspects of the membership and wellness department and oversees kids club. Responsible for sales, retention, health and safety, staff and volunteers associated with these areas. Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Preferred three years relevant membership experience (recruitment, sales, marketing, engagement, retention, and customer service).
• Preferred three years’ experience in staff hiring, development, and supervision.
• Excellent understanding of the wellness center and group x
• Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to monitor revenue and expenses.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required within 30 days of hire.
