  • Knowledge of the service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university in related field; and three to five years related program management experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree in social work, psychology, counseling, nursing, business, health care management or related field preferred.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Guided by the pastoral mission, values and goals of Catholic Charities ministry, provides leadership, management and vision to Marisol Health clinics and mobile services. Provides leadership and support to multidisciplinary teams of health care professionals, behavioral health specialists, and administrative staff. Ensures program goals and outcomes are met and are consistent with the goals, mission, and values of Marisol Health and the Ethical and Religious Directives of Catholic health care services.Represents Catholic Charities and Marisol Health publicly and is responsible for conveying its message and mission.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspires the development and achievement of shared goals to fulfill the mission of Marisol Health
  • Builds a team culture of interdependency, reciprocity, and collaboration, incorporating multiple perspectives.
  • Fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Develops, recommends, and oversees implementation of program policies, procedures, services, and objectives to support the Marisol Health mission.
  • Collaborates with Marisol Health team to develop clinic performance metrics, monitor data, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality patient care.
  • Represents and promotes Marisol Health within the community to increase clientele, volunteer, and financial support in collaboration with the marketing and mission advancement teams.
  • Engages staff and other stakeholders in the budget development process, ensuring the inclusion of diverse perspectives, insights, and needs.
  • Supports team members in the implementation and monitoring of the budget throughout the fiscal year.
  • Collaborates with the Catholic Charities mission advancement team to coordinate special events and initiatives that align with the clinic’s mission and goals.
  • Coordinates with the Catholic Charities grants team to secure grant funding for the clinic and ensures timely reporting and compliance with grant requirements.
  • Addresses patient concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
