Description:

The Technical Program Director role sits within the Digital practice which support’s our customers Digital and DevOps Enablement Team.
As the Technical Program Director, you will oversee the delivery of all Versent’s technical capability (people, process, tools and partnerships) for our client’s project. You will play a significant role in ensuring our reputation is upheld to ensure the effectiveness of the overall delivery.
On a day to day, you will input into and lead strategic conversations, providing strategic technical direction and thought leadership across software engineering and architecture domains. In addition, you will work with the delivery team to assist with the scoping, planning, and resourcing of projects, ensuring they are appropriately resourced and managed. Your responsibilities include managing technical strategic roadmap, program schedules, scope, and priorities, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged, managing risks and issues, and coordinating releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership in Software Solution Engineering and Architecture to clients.
  • Help clients embed best practices into their Digital Factory, ensuring robust DevOps practices in AWS or Azure
  • Demonstrate technical delivery of Digital Program deliverables.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex technical challenges and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Act as the ‘technical face’ of Versent in the region, developing and enhancing Versent’s technical credibility and reputation locally
  • Aid with Productising Engineering and Architecture thought leadership (DevOps) methodologies.
  • Develop scalable methodologies for building digital products at scale.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and standardize DevOps practices.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, playbooks, and training materials for internal and external use.
